How do I register at Proficonf?

 button on the same page. You should enter your first and last name, e-mail, create and confirm a password. 

Can I arrange a conference with someone who does not have an account within Proficonf?

Anyone can join the conference, even a user who does not have an account in the system. Only the host has to own a Proficonf account for the conference to happen. 

Where is the video, that was recorded during the meeting?

The video recording of the conference will be saved to a file in the “Demo” section and will be available to participants as soon as the organizer allows it in the file settings.

Where can I find a conference link to invite guests?

You will find the link to the conference by clicking on the plus icon.

How can I pass on the link to a conference to a participant?

You can pass on the link to the conference to a participant in any way that is of convenience to you:

  • send it in a short text message
  • use pigeon post
  • create a QR for the link
  • use your favorite instant messenger.

There is another way to go about it. Select a green icon in the upper left corner of the conference, click on it and enter the participant's email address. The link will be sent to the user’s email automatically.

How can I edit the event I’ve created?

You can change the name of the event at any time.

This can be done during the conference by clicking on the current name of the event (in the left part of the top panel) and entering a new one. Press Enter to save.

To change the name of any of your meetings, find the list of events in your personal account.

Click on the title of the event you wish to rename. Highlight the name, delete it and enter a new one. Do not forget to click “Save” at the end. Please note: you can also rename past conferences. 

How can I completely delete an event?

To delete an event, go to “Events” menu, select the event you want to delete and click on the menu button for the conference. Select the option “Delete”.

What is a “Permanent Room”?

Proficonf Pro and Premium memberships allow you to create permanent rooms for conferences. A feature of this room is a static link. It will notably improve accessibility for regular participants.

You choose the name. And if you want to change it - you can. In one click. 

What file and presentation formats can I upload?

File sizes and formats available for demonstration in the conference:

  • video: wmv, mp4, webm, mpeg, mkv, m4v, flv, mov, avi, 3gpp (maximum 500 MB)
  • audio: mp3, wav, aac, aif, flac, m4a (maximum 50 MB)
  • presentations: ppt, pptx, pptm, ppsx, pps, odp (maximum size: 50 MB)
  • tables: xls, xlsx, ods, csv (50 MB maximum)
  • documents: doc, docx, dot, dotx, txt , rtf, pdf * (maximum 100 MB)
  • images: png, jpeg ... all popular, except. tiff, ico, raw, eps and similar (maximum 20 MB).

There is also an option to download any other file formats up to 400 MB, which can not be demonstrated, but you can give them access to download other participants.

What are the minimum device requirements for Proficonf to function properly?

Can I be sure that my data is protected?

Proficonf takes the job of securing your data very seriously. We use advanced technology to protect your information and safeguard your confidentiality.

WebRTC uses the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol for real-time data transport. This protocol is embedded by default into all browsers that support WebRTC technology. Interception and forgery are excluded within connection encrypted with DTLS.

In addition to DTLS, WebRTC technology uses the Secure Real-Time Protocol (SRTP) data transfer protocol to encrypt video and audio. This protocol excludes listening or viewing of IP communication (voice and video traffic) by unauthorized parties.

How can I change the payment method?

To change the payment method, you need to make the next payment with a different card.

Another way is to delete the current card and make the next payment with another card.

I want to change the default payment method. How to do it?

To do this, go to the payment method and click on the “make this card default” button.

How can I increase my disk space?

You can increase storage space by purchasing additional disc space. You can purchase additional disk space by accessing the appropriate menu of your personal account and clicking the “Increase disk space” button. The system will automatically redirect you to payment page.

How is my card charged?

Your account is charged once a month. Please note: charging is carried out once a calendar month and does not depend on the number of days in it. We ask you to make sure in advance that there is enough money in your account on the day of charge. You will be notified about the charging coming up in your account.

How to stop Proficonf charges from my account completely?

This can be done by simply unsubscribing. 

Please note: it will be necessary to unsubscribe from the “Disk” service separately by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button in the “Disk space” menu of your personal account.

What is your refund policy?

We guarantee a refund within thirty days from the date of subscription purchase. All you need to do is send us an email and we will refund your unused balance. You do not have to tell us why you want a refund. We will be grateful if you find a way to give us feedback though.

If I want to get Premium membership while using Pro, will you charge me the full cost?

If you purchase Premium account during the subscription to a Pro, you only need to pay the change between the two.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can purchase a subscription using Visa and MasterCard. We also accept wire payments. Want to use alternate payment method? Contact Proficonf support team.

Do you provide any discounts?

Yes, we give the opportunity to save 20%, subject to the purchase of a one-year subscription. Please contact the support team for the purchase of a one-year subscription.

How long can I use the platform after buying a subscription?

The duration of the subscription is one month. Please note, not 30 days, but a month. Accordingly, if you purchased a subscription on December 31, it will be active until January 31 inclusive.

What should I do if the screen froze during the conference?

In this case,pressing the F5 key can quickly fix the situation. The page will reload and the process will be restored. If pressing F5 did not change anything, restart your computer (tablet, smartphone).
